10 WAYS TO STOP BEING MOODY!

We all have days that we wake up in the morning and we are just not feeling it. We have no motive, no excitement for life. Sometimes even something goes south in the very beginning of our day. But this shouldn’t stop us from making our day count. Studies show that the very first feeling and thought in the morning will determine how the day will continue. So with that being said, I m sure you now really want to to learn how you can actually change your negative mood to a significantly better one.

1. LISTEN TO YOUR FAVOURITE MUSIC.
 We all have some songs that make us feel unstoppable, happy and ready to go after what we want. So what I suggest is to create a playlist with all these songs and when you have one of ”these” days listen to it non stop!
2. DANCE
 Dance! You might don’t like dancing or you might think you are terrible but at this point, it doesn’t really matter. I m not saying to go dance in front of people, unless you want to, I m saying to get to your room put some music on and just feel the vibe and dance. This will immediately make you feel so much better and it is a great workout.
3.EXERCISE 
 Physical activity stimulates various brain chemicals that may leave you feeling happier, more relaxed and less anxious. This is not me saying it, this is a fact. Working out should not be a chore and If you’re feeling it like this you are doing the wrong type of exercise.

4.INSPIRATIONAL FEEDBACK
 Search for inspirational content. That can be a book, a movie, a podcast or a youtube video that will inspire you!
5.GRATEFUL LIST
 This is a tip and a habit that you shouldn’t be doing only when you are having a bad day but generally on a daily basis. Personally when I wake up in the morning or when I go to bed at night I will write down three things that I m grateful for. These can be people, experiences, things or even just my health. I just can’t tell you enough how it will change your perspective on life.
6. MEDITATE
 Close your eyes focus on you, on your thoughts and find the deep feeling that makes you happy. It will help you, in the long run, to maintain focus for longer periods and of course to limit your anxiety.
7. FORCE SMILES
 This is something that I recently started doing and I have to say that in the beginning, I had really low standards. But they did prove me wrong!
You might not be in the mood to smile or you have no reason to smile( If you are doing the grateful list I m sure you ll find plenty of reasons to smile) but do so to a relative or to your self if you are alone or even just to a stranger. And trust me the stranger will smile back. Do this for five days and then notice how your mindset has changed.
 
8. ACT AS YOU’D LIKE TO FEEL
 Ask yourself: How do I want to feel at this moment? What can I do to make me feel that way?
And the do it!
Your answer might catch you by surprise.
 
9. WATCH YOUR ALL-TIME FAV MOVIE
 If you have a movie that you adore and probably have watched more times than you should, it is the best time to re-watch it!
10. MEET WITH FRIENDS
 Go see your friends and just have fun. Laugh, enjoy, talk about random topics and obviously socialise.
